We live in San Jose with my parents and youngest brother. Geena is my caregiver as well as my partner. I have a very fun (not) condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobility Type. That means I'm flexible; my connective tissue is not built properly, so I hyperextend my joints without realizing it, and subluxations and dislocations are common. It's also led to early-onset arthritis. You can read quite a bit about that here. Recently, I was also diagnosed with chronic pain syndrome and fibromyalgia. I'm also Bipolar I. I have a serious case of crazy when that acts up. You'll hear me talk about "weight issues". Those stem from recovering from an ED-NOS, specifically, anorexia nervosa without loss of menstruation. I have pretty bad social anxiety and generalized anxiety disorder. Thanks to the above, I'm in the process of applying for disability. I have massive issues with male authority figures and men in general. Internet men are fine; men I'm around are a different story, and I'm not entirely certain where it stems from. |
